Interior Designer

About the Company

My client has offices across Australia and NZ and known for their premium office fit outs. Capable of design & construct, fit out & space planning they showcase a diverse portfolio of work.

About the Role: As a Designer, you will thrive working independently and collaboratively as part of the wider Design & Delivery team. You will envision, design, and document interior spaces for both new and existing clients while working closely with the delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities: You will play a pivotal role in the success of our clients’ interior spaces, working on multiple projects both as a designer and alongside the Lead Designer based in Sydney.

This includes attending regular client meetings to provide updates on project statuses, producing effective presentation and communication collateral, and collaborating with the design team on concept and spatial planning ideas.

As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with the design team and our clients to drive and manage design expectations and outcomes, contributing to the overall success of our business.

About You:

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience.
  • Workplace/office fit-out experience is ideal.
  • Ability to design and schedule projects from beginning to end.
  • Experience using Revit and Adobe Indesign.
  • Ability to design within a budget.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the design industry.
  • Good communication and relationship skills with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Confident and highly competent presentation abilities, comfortable in front of senior stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Creative skills with the ability to conceptualise and communicate ideas effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and highly rewarding environment.
  • Ambition, positivity, and a collaborative personality.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture.
  • Commercial interior design experience.
  • Experience using Revit.
