We are expanding our team and currently looking for a talented Industrial Designer for a Full Time Position

As an Industrial Designer, you will be involved across all stages of projects, assist with collaborative design and 2D and 3D CAD detailed documentation to onsite build supervision.

We are seeking a talented, confident, and proactive individual with a passion for design and a willingness to engage with all aspects of our creative team.

We are looking for an experienced Exhibition Designer or Industrial Designer to join our team.

This experienced designer can execute a client project brief, to 3D CAD Design and Photorealistic Visualisation Renders quickly and to brief.

The designer we are looking for must be fast with their 3D CAD Design and 3D Modelling skills and design exhibition structures and custom displays to manufacturing standards.

It would be ideal for the designer to know how structures, timber walls, custom displays and illuminated and non-backlit signage etc. are made and fabricated so that they can design to suit client budgets and costs.

Experience with hands on furniture making, signage maker, fit out building in the past would be advantageous and knowing how things are built and put together is a great skill required as a Designer in this industry.

The designer needs to take their 3D CAD Design and 3D Modelling into Rendering Software such as 3DStudio Max to create High End Photorealistic renders, touch them up in Photoshop and compile in Illustrator or InDesign for PDF client presentations and project tenders.

This process from Client Brief to 3D CAD Design Plans to 3D Rendering Presentation PDF should be completed in a matter of days as we work with multiple brands across different shows per week.

We work in a fast-paced industry working with global brands and local companies to design and produce high end designs that match their brand guides and tick all their campaign brief requirements and more.

Must have skills – 

• Fast at 2D CAD and 3D CAD Modelling such as AutoCAD, VectorWorks or similar.
• Highly Skilled in 3D Studio Max rendering and able to use Vray or Corona Renderer for Photorealistic High End Renders.
• Very experienced in Adobe Photoshop for Image Editing, Creating Graphic Concepts, creating Texture Maps for Renders and Rendering Touch Ups.
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator for creating artworks and signage for Printing purposes.
• Create PDF Presentation Documents for clients using Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign.
• Would be great if experienced in Adobe Premier Pro – and can create and edit video files for showreels and TV Demo video reels.

• A Creative that loves exhibition design and keeps up with the latest commercial interior design news and environmental design trends.
• Open to new ideas and can take direction and feedback well to improve for themselves and the team.
• Can present designs confidently and public speak at clients and to the team well.
• Experience in CNC and/or wide format printers will be highly regarded
• A valid driver’s license and have own vehicle.
• Exposure to local suppliers, sourcing, specifying and scheduling materials, systems, products & furniture items.
• Exposure to local fabrication, construction and joinery detailing.
• Exceptional time management skills and an understanding of prioritising tasks.
• Team player and work well under pressure, sometimes to very tight deadlines.
• A self-motivated focus to deliver to tight deadlines, including across multiple projects at one time.
