Graphic Designer - Broadbeach, QLD

Bring ideas to life through visual communication. You will utilise your creative skills to design and produce visually appealing graphics and communications that effectively convey our Ignite Travel Group (ITG) brands messages and captivate audiences. Your role involves collaborating with team members to understand their needs, objectives, and target audience, and then translating those insights into compelling designs. Whether it’s designing press ads, website assets, or social media content, your work will play a crucial role in enhancing our brands, telling stories, and creating memorable experiences. With your keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, you will contribute to building captivating visual narratives that leave a lasting impact.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Creating visually appealing designs for various digital and print mediums, including websites, social media platforms, print advertisements, and email marketing
  • Produce accurate high quality artwork within brand guidelines and standards and ensure brand guidelines are maintained
  • Collaborating with internal product teams and marketing team members to gather design briefs, understand project requirements, and ensure meeting overall brief objectives
  • Developing and implementing design concepts, typography, imagery, and layouts that effectively communicate the desired message
  • Applying a strong understanding of design principles, including colour theory, composition, and typography, to create visually cohesive and impactful designs
  • Managing multiple assigned design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines within allocated timeframes
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as digital marketing, copywriting, and video, to ensure design consistency and alignment with overall brand strategies
  • Conducting market research and staying updated on design trends and industry best practices to continuously enhance design quality and innovation
  • Proficiently using graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), to create and edit high-quality designs
  • Preparing files for print production, ensuring correct colour profiles, resolutions, and file formats for optimal printing results

Who you are…

  • Minimum 2+ years commercial experience
  • All-round experience in digital and print design inc. conceptual skills, design and production of digital and print assets including websites, banners, tiles, graphics, landing pages, eDM’s, print advertising, marketing and sales collateral
  • Video editing skills (After Effects) experience advantageous, not required
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Designer or similar
