We are currently seeking a highly creative and collaborative Graphic Designer who will be responsible for assisting in production of graphics for exhibits from signage, large format displays to screen-based interactive media as well as other exhibition related materials.
In this role you will:
- Prepare concepts, mood boards, sketching, prototyping, illustrations and other techniques to ensure accurate development of project team specifications within exhibit briefs.
- Create exhibit branding through style guide development for consistent visual identity across the exhibition.
- Collaborate with 3D Exhibit designers and Multimedia designers to ensure visual elements fit the spatial layout seamlessly.
- Ensure that finished production work is designed and delivered within budget and on schedule to a high standard.
- Adhere to design briefs as required for clarity of exhibit visualisation allowing smooth workflow between design teams and technicians.
- Ensure exhibit documentation is maintained and updated for assembly manuals, repair, maintenance and potential future reproduction
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a creative individual who can help visualise and articulate exhibition goals, themes and content through creative design solutions in collaboration with Exhibition Designers and other internal staff.
Other skills and experience required include:
- Design software proficiency with Adobe suite programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Experience with 3D modelling software such as SketchUp or Blender
- Demonstrate experience designing and documenting concepts and visual elements.
- Multimedia and online graphic production skills.
- Proven production experience in delivery of printed and multimedia projects from concept to finished item.
- Experience in obtaining quotations and liaising with service providers
Qualifications and Licenses include:

- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Media Design or similar.
- National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.
