About the role

In the Graphic Designer position, you will be responsible for developing design concepts and briefs for a range of information and communication products and services. This role creates and develops graphic design concepts to presentation standards for approval by the Coordinator Design, meeting the department’s style guidelines and government requirements.

Your creative experience and ability to develop versatile design solutions for promotional publications, information products, display material and other communication mediums will play a key part to your success in the role.

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of graphic and online design principals, experience using graphic design software packages, a good understanding of modern print technology, and the requirements of commercial printers.

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Demonstrated creative experience and ability in developing design solutions for promotional publications, information products, display material and other communication mediums.
  • Knowledge of graphic and online design principals and experience in the use of current graphics design software packages on a PC Platform.
  • A good understanding of modern print technology, and the requirements of commercial printers.
