About the Role:

As the Graphic Designer within our Learning and Innovation function, you are responsible for creating CPA Australia branded graphics and sourcing stock photos for video development, providing creative support for teams across Learning and Innovation, and developing CPA Australia branded graphics for online courses and desktop published PDFs.

Working closely with the Learning Design team and Learning & Development team, the Graphic Designer provides creative support for CPA Australia’s Professional Development, CPA Program and other relevant products aimed at a sophisticated global audience and delivering against CPA Australia’s organisational strategy and business objectives.

 

Your key accountabilities include:

  • Storyboard and design graphic elements for video development in line with brand and style guidelines
  • Sourcing suitable, high quality stock images and illustrations for video development
  • Collaboration with stakeholders in Conferences to create event assets including Powerpoints, website assets, and other event assets including both digital and printed assets such as banners, menus, lanyard designs
  • Create custom infographics, tables, graphs and other graphic elements
  • Lead the improvement of the production processes including templates, embedded styles, filing systems and graphic review process
  • Ensure adherence to best practice design processes and guidelines

This position is a fixed term contract to 31st December 2025

 

About You:

You will come to us with practical graphic design experience in a mid to senior career level position, and have evidenced ability to interpret creative briefs and turn them into well-considered finished products. You will also have:

  • Experience creating video storyboards, and strong graphic design, drawing and illustration skills
  • Thorough understanding of typography in digital design as well as digital-first and UX/UI design principles
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and project management skills, including proficiency with digital workflow tools such as Monday.com
  • A self-starter attitude, a passion for creating great visual content and a commitment to design best practice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Evidenced ability to perform effectively under pressure and within a multi-project environment
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (graphic design, visual communications or similar) desirable.
