Graphic Designer

My client is a nationwide business on the lookout for a Graphic & Audio Visual Designer who wants to partner directly with their clients. This permanent role will see you have full ownership & autonomy to partner with both new & existing clients working through ideation and delivering the final product through the Adobe Suite. You will ideally have 3-5 years of previous experience designing campaigns for clients or with internal stake holders, this could be any medium. If you have previous experience in or have a passion for Audio Visual Design then this is a role worth looking at to develop your current skillset further.

In addition you will have career and technical development from an experienced Senior Designer with opportunity to grow your career and the support to do so. This could include further upskilling through courses & certifications funded by the organization and guided by the senior leadership team.

What your days will more than likely involve

  • Graphic and Creative Design for new and existing clients including digital, print and Animation
  • Artwork Review
  • Proof of Posting – creation
  • Mock-up’s as required
  • Montage creation
  • Proposal documents and Infographics
  • Branding – Stationery, Emails, marketing collateral
  • Christmas Cards
  • Data Entry
  • Engagement with internal stake holders and external partners

What you might bring to the role

  • A degree in graphic design or associated field from a recognised Australian vocational or tertiary institution or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role including a wide range of graphic design functions (advertising, branding, proofing) where knowledge and creation of a traditional and digital collateral were integral functions of the role.
  • Previous experience in an office-based environment, with the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks in many diverse projects seamlessly and simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Adobe creative suite on a Mac platform; with a working knowledge of HTML and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to achieve fundamental targets and objectives of the role and in the delivery of administrative and reporting functions in a service driven organisation.
  • A high level of initiative with a preparedness to learn and adopt new technology, work practices, systems and procedures; underpinned by an ability to think outside the box.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve issues with employees, clients, partners, suppliers, management and co-workers at all levels.
  • Ability to make decisions, be flexible in responding to changing priorities, work unsupervised, accept responsibility and act on directives with professional discretion.
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely and cost-efficient manner; underpinned by sound technical competence.
