Gallery Manager

Deutscher and Hackett is a leading Australian fine art auction house with a strong reputation for integrity, expertise and quality. We are seeking an energetic and capable Gallery Manager to join our dynamic team located at our Sydney gallery in Paddington.

In this ‘hands on’ role your responsibilities will be varied.  You will demonstrate the ability to liaise confidently with clients, communicate and deal with suppliers, whilst providing administrative support to the rest of our team. As Gallery Manager you will be responsible for the efficient administration of all office procedures within the Sydney gallery, including support for the Executive Director and Senior Art Specialist, basic cataloguing of artwork and client database management. Given the range of responsibilities you will be able to demonstrate your ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and deliver timely and accurate results. Your impressive communication skills and attention to detail, coupled with a sound knowledge of Australian art could secure you an exciting opportunity to enter the fine art auction market.
