First Nations Producer

PAC Australia seeks a First Nations Producer to lead delivery of First Nations & Indigenous activity across their events: APAX, APAM & Impact Awards.
PAC Australia is the national voice for performing arts presenting. For over 30 years we have been deeply invested in connecting audiences with extraordinary performance experiences.
As a leader in sector gatherings and national market development since we introduced an arts market to our national gatherings in 2015 (now known as the Australian Performing Arts Exchange – APAX), we now also look ahead to creating even greater outcomes for Australian artists, producer and presenters with the delivery of the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) biannually from 2026 to 2030.
PAC Australia is currently convening a First Nations Advisory Group whose leadership will inform First Nations recognition and participation across our events and capacity building programs.
The role – First Nations Producer
The First Nations Producer is a First Nations identified role[1] that will support and lead the delivery of First Nations and Indigenous activity across PAC Australia’s events, namely:
- – Australian Performing Arts Exchange (APAX),
- – Australian Performing Arts market (APAM), and
- – PAC Australia’s IMPACT Awards.
The position is permanent part time (30 hours per week) and can either be based at the Boorloo Perth, WA office or remotely.
The First Nations Producer reports to the First Nations Advisory Group for cultural matters, and the Executive Director in all other areas.

The role is supported by the First Nations Advisory Group and the First Nation board members of PAC Australia. We will also work with the successful candidate/s to support informal networks and develop skills and experience as appropriate.
