As a Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our thriving in-house design team, where your creative vision and industry experience will shape trend-driven ranges that resonate with our customers both nationally and internationally. Our ideal candidate is not only passionate about fashion and up-to-date with the latest trends, but also possesses the technical know-how to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities
- Design, create and execute collections in line with OTB and buying plans.
- Create a trend-driven range for Northern and Southern Hemispheres that reflect quarterly trends and best-seller data.
- Research and Analyse relevance and execution of trends, both nationally and internationally from a variety of sources, and translate for the Princess Polly customer.
- Participate in collaborative workshops with creative team to develop on trend/commercial trend boards and colour palettes in line with the brand.
- Attend fit sessions, ensuring accurate garment development.
- Design inclusive ranges, including curve lines, with strong understanding of garment tech and fittings.
- Build relationships with vendors and suppliers to support better margins and product life cycles.
Skills/Experience
- A tertiary qualification in Design is preferred, along with 3+ years experience as a designer.
- Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Fabric and raw material knowledge.
- Strong technical knowledge and garment construction skills.
- The ability to commercially interpret trends for our forward-fashion and trend-focused customer with demonstrated success in designing commercial ranges.
- Strong analytic analysis skills.
- Natural go-getter with a passion for design – can work under pressure to achieve results.
