Experienced Graduate of Architecture

Are you an experienced graduate of architecture with proficiency in Revit? Join our dynamic practice, where you’ll actively contribute to and manage various project components daily. In this exciting role, you’ll work on a range of education, sport & recreation and community projects, reporting to a Senior Architect or Associate. This position is ideal for someone eager to build expertise in all facets of the architectural profession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications under instruction and direction of the Project Leader.
  • Participate in, explore and challenge design dialogue.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors as required.
  • Assist in the development of client presentation materials, including 3D models and renderings.
  • Support the project team in various stages of project development, from conceptual design to construction documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections to and research to aid in developing architectural design solutions.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure that designs meet client requirements, building codes, and other regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors as required.
  • Assist with the development of presentation, proposals and other marketing material as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years professional experience in commercial architecture practice.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (minimum 3 years professional experience).
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (minimum 3 years professional experience).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to complete work to deadlines.
  • Strong design and visualization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
