Permanent Part-time: 30 hours/4 days per week
MVA is one of the leading providers of music education in Australia. Proudly bringing music to schools for more than 40 years, helping shape the lives of generations of Australian children and reaching close to 300,000 students annually. Dynamic performances by culturally-diverse ensembles are complemented by comprehensive lesson plans, interactive content, and professional development for teachers, building the capacity of schools to inspire, teach, and instil a love of music.
In this role, you’ll lead, build and nurture relationships with schools and teachers, drive program sales, coordinate professional development for educators, and manage special music projects and residencies. The ideal candidate brings proven arts administration experience, strong knowledge of music education, excellent communication skills, and understanding of school environments.
You’ll supervise education coordinators and administrators while working collaboratively with our marketing and development teams. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by awakening the musical spirit in children across three territories.
