Director of Programming

Do you have the artistic vision, commercial acumen and management expertise to become the Director of Programming for MRC?

The Melbourne Recital Centre is seeking entrepreneurial individuals with exceptional classical music industry knowledge coupled with an openness and curiosity across contemporary, First Nations and community music-making.  They will lead the curatorial strategy of this world-renowned venue for live music, leveraging their extensive networks, with a demonstrated ability to identify emerging artists and programming trends that appeal to varied audiences.  They will have proven ability to devise and manage complex budgets as well as highly developed computing skills.

This person will be an outstanding collaborator, an inspiring leader, and a compelling communicator, able to build relationships with people at all levels, forge strategic partnerships, and engage audiences in the music and storytelling that are fundamental to all our lives.
