Responsibilities:
- Customer Requirement Analysis: Evaluate customer requirements to develop standardized solutions that often include multiple technology stacks. Provide expertise and governance for customer solutions, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Pre-Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Team during pre-sales activities by providing demonstrations, presentations, and consultations. Drive deeper and more meaningful customer conversations with technical SMEs to improve long-term sales win rates.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Maintain excellent working alignment with Sales, Products, Delivery, and the broader client community, plus third-party vendors from pre-sales through to hand-over and transition to implementation teams.
- Vendor and Industry Engagement: Develop positive relationships within the vendor and industry communities. Engage these relationships to develop and deliver innovative customer solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship to account teams, helping them navigate solution components for overall profitability.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience and tenure in a similar role with a solid understanding of the commercial, technical, and communications sectors.
- Client Understanding: Ability to connect with and understand a client’s technology requirements, recommending a fit-for-purpose product suite.
- Technological Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technological trends, processes, and methodologies in the Telco and ICT markets, including detailed knowledge of competitor products and solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with both clients and technical team members at all levels. Outstanding presentation skills are essential.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to self-manage to deliver against clients’ expectations, set timeframes, and budgets.
