The Opportunity: As we look forward with excitement to the next 60 years, we are seeking to appoint two passionate and inspiring Classical Ballet Teachers with proven professional experience as ballet dancers. We have openings for:

• A Ballet Teacher to support our female identifying/pointe stream
• A Ballet Teacher to support our male identifying/virtuoso stream

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a vocational and pre-professional ballet training program based on The Australian Ballet School’s system of training.
• Collaborate with the Artistic Director and Head of School, and the Artistic and Health Teams to ensure comprehensive care in all aspects of the students’ dance education and training, health and wellbeing and personal growth and development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise in ballet pedagogy
• Compassionate approach to guiding students, nurturing their technical, artistic, and personal development
• An understanding of the art form’s historical arc and a commitment to ballet’s ongoing evolution and development
• Proven professional experience as a ballet dancer
• Interest in developing leadership skills and a commitment to life-long learning.
