Associate Architect - Sydney

People2people are recruiting for a Sydney-based architecture studio who are looking for an Associate level Architect. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work on innovative projects and work for a supportive and thriving business. Working on small and medium size heritage developments across Australia, the studio has a range of projects across a variety of sectors.

Please note – for this role it is essential that the successful candidate has strong experience post ARB NSW registration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Leading project proposals and bids.
• Coordinating both internal teams and external partners.
• Completing projects to high-quality standards, within budget and deadlines.
• Creating and reviewing design and technical documentation.
• Leading conservation, refurbishment, adaptive reuse, and construction detailing efforts.
• Providing remote support to our teams in across the globe.

Required Skills & Qualifications::

• Proven experience on a variety of similar projects.
• Strong background in heritage projects, including design, detailing, and contract administration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of conservation repair, adaptive reuse, and construction detailing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
• Leadership experience in small project teams, including financial oversight.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), and experience with Revit/BIM is preferred.

Key Information:

• Permanent
• Hybrid working

• Up to $110,000 – $130,000p/a (plus super) dependant on experience
