Arts Development Officer

• Ongoing Part Time – 25 hours per week
• Salary:  $80,680 pa (pro-rata) + super
• Location: Maroondah , with some local travel required

As Arts Development Officer, you will support, promote and deliver a wide range of arts and cultural programs and projects, strengthening the sustainability of the local arts and creative community and contributing to vibrant neighbourhoods and community wellbeing. You will facilitate connections between local artists and creative, business and community stakeholders, through the development of networks and partnerships and creative capacity building. A key part of this role is to oversee the annual Arts and Cultural Grants program.

As an exceptional communicator with experience in arts promotion and marketing, your talent in engaging stakeholders including through social media, will contribute to strong and productive relationships and will strengthen the profile of the arts across Maroondah.

Ideal applicants will have passion and knowledge across a wide range of arts and creative practices, together with a strong commitment to and experience in community cultural development.  This position requires flexibility to work out of hours on an ad hoc basis.
