The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and talented Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing team. As a Architectural Draftsperson at ACCIONA, you will play a key role in leading and managing the design process on major infrastructure and energy projects, ensuring that all design aspects align with project objectives, meet client requirements, and comply with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable, and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design process from concept through to detailed design and construction.
  • Coordinate and liaise with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Ensure design outputs comply with regulatory standards, contractual requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and manage design changes, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Drive innovation and sustainable design practices in line with ACCIONA’s commitment to sustainability.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior design team members.
  • Manage budgets and design schedules, ensuring timely delivery of design packages.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in design management, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary design projects.
  • Strong understanding of design processes, project management principles, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
