Northern Territory Arts Grants Program 2024-25
Arts NT recognises that creativity, culture and the arts are integral to thriving communities, to supporting health and wellbeing, and to developing the economy.
The Northern Territory Arts Grants Program supports opportunities, initiatives and projects that: employ and develop artists and arts workers; recognise, develop and showcase the value of arts and culture; encourage creativity, imagination and innovation; improve access and participation in arts and culture; and promote the expression of culture through NT stories.
Four grants designed to develop the creative practice and careers of artists and arts workers and to increase community participation in the arts are currently open:
- Quick Response (up to $1,500)
- Creative Communities (up to $7,000)
- Professional Development (up to $2,500)
- NXT Gen ARTS ($13,000 per application)
Applications are accepted until 31 May 2025 or until the budget is expended.
Opening on 26 August 2024, Arts Projects is a grant in the NT Arts Grants Program that is designed to support projects that create and showcase the arts of the NT, provide employment opportunities for NT artists, and support emerging artists to grow their artistic pratice. Applicants to the Arts Projects grant can request up to $30,000 in certain categories and up to $15,000 in the emerging artists category. Applications for Arts Projects close 2pm, 25 September 2024.
