In this workshop, Madison Griffiths will consider the value of writing memory in the toolbox of the creative non-fiction writer: how it inhabits the body, the page, and affords the author the space to intimately nestle large themes into nuanced, personal narrative.
Please note: this is a partnership event with Connected Libraries and is only available for residents living in the City of Casey.
You will harness tools to imbed their prose with fluidity, power and pointedness, honing in on the significance of recollection, and where, and how, it ought to live within prose. This workshop will incite writers to illuminate the past with courage, curiosity and lyrical inquiry.
