Caution! This Event Contains Deadly Reptiles

Are you ready to meet some deadly (in a good way!) reptiles? Corey Tutt takes the stage for a mind-blowing journey into the world of Australia’s scaly critters.

Packed with mind-blowing science and rich First Nations knowledge, this adventure into the world of reptiles will share fascinating insights into Australia’s most scaly creatures – and you won’t just hear about reptiles… you’ll meet some too! Corey will be joined by wildlife ambassadors from Reptile Encounters – Melbourne’s favourite mobile zoo – so you can get up close and personal with these captivating animals, discovering that the world of reptiles is Deadly, in more ways than one!

About

Corey Tutt is a Kamilaroi man who was born on Yuin Country in Nowra on the New South Wales South Coast.  In 2018, Corey founded DeadlyScience, a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide science resources to remote schools in Australia, and connects young First Nations people with mentors to encourage their participation in STEM subjects.

In 2020, Corey was named the NSW Young Australian of the Year, and a Human Rights Hero by the Australian Human Rights Commission. In 2022, Corey received an OAM for service to Indigenous STEM education. He is an Associate Professor at Western Sydney University.
