Pottery class – hand building /wheel work group is a positive experience filled with imagination, creativity and fun! in Cobargo NSW.
If you’re interested in learning how to hand build or how to use the wheel this is the perfect place to start. You will learn the fundamentals of hand-building including pinching, coiling, and slab construction. On the wheel is wedging and throwing strong forms including bowls and cups.
Our courses are designed to push you out of your comfort zone and explore your creativity, as well as encourage you to combine techniques to create interesting work. Your tutors are Gabrielle Powell and Daniel Lafferty both formally trained in ceramics at Canberra School of Art with over 30 years experience in ceramics, teaching and community development.
