Insurance cover is a necessary but often overwhelming undertaking that adds to the administrative burden carried by independent artists and arts workers. In a 101 session presented by NAVA and SAMAG, industry experts, Cover for Creatives, and artist Nadia Odlum will begin to untangle issues around risk, liability and coverage. While Nadia brings an artist’s perspective to the landscape of insurance, Cover for Creatives will speak to NAVA’s new and improved insurance package in further detail. There will be dedicated time for Q&A in the second half of the session.
