Leap out of your seat and back in time to an era of golden opulence, as QSO celebrates 200 years of the king of the Viennese waltz, Johann Strauss II. Join Queensland Symphony Orchestra as dancers take to the stage and waltz their way through Strauss’ most iconic music, from the famous Blue Danube to the humorous Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka.
You might be a waltz aficionado, or have two left-feet – either way, conductor Gábor Káli and host, the charming QSO cellist Craig Allister Young, will serve up music fit for a decadent evening. The enchantment of the ballroom beckons!
