Taste of Cruelty—a new interdisciplinary work by Sara Cowdell and Ethan Morse.
Blending performance art, dance, verbatim text, and theatre, the piece navigates the aftermath of sexual assault. Using the body as a point of departure, Sara and Ethan examine themes of dominance, fear, and the complex spaces in between—resisting neat narratives of healing or vilification.
Both beautiful and confronting, Taste of Cruelty delves into the unspeakable, exposing the visceral and unpredictable nature of misogyny.
