SWELL Sculpture Festival is Queensland’s premier outdoor sculpture festival, with the signature exhibition presenting over 60 Australian and international artists to captivate the hearts and minds of a large and diverse audience of visitors. Set between two iconic giant rock formations along the Gold Coast’s Currumbin Beach, the vast coastal landscape will be home to the iconic outdoor gallery for its 22nd year, 6 – 15 Septeber 2024.
The annual SWELL Sculpture Festival is a free and all-inclusive 10-day outdoor sculpture exhibition, by the people for the people. A celebration of narratives and stories spoken through the artworks produced by local, national and international artists. There is something for everyone at SWELL. Visitors are invited to immerse on their own level and pace with the sculptures set amongst the natural landscape. Delve deeper into the unique artistic programming for you to enjoy by attending artist talks, guided walks and participate in sculptural workshops, masterclasses and SWELL Kids Elements.
Additionally, pop up exhibitions will be presented across the City of Gold Coast. The SWELL Smalls Gallery will be showcased along Currumbin Beach, with SWELL Fringe Festival boasting artistic programming including workshops, artist panels and artistic culinary experiences, live music and SWELL Art Parties.
