St Kilda A4 Affordable Art Show 2024
We are thrilled to bring back the St Kilda A4 Affordable Art Show—with a twist! This year, all artworks should be A4 size (210 x 297mm), not including the frame. This unique format encourages artists to think big on a smaller scale, showcasing creativity across various artistic styles and mediums in both 2D and 3D formats.
Space2b is a social enterprise that empowers newly arrived migrants, refugees, and people seeking asylum by supporting them in achieving financial independence. Located in the City of Port Phillip, our creative hub includes a shop, ArtSpace Gallery, design studio, workshop, small business hub, and a laneway café.
Exhibition Details
The show runs from Tuesday, 3rd December 2024, to Saturday, 1st February 2025, at the Space2b ArtSpace, 144 Chapel St, St Kilda.
Please note that the gallery will be closed from 25th December 2024 to 14th January 2025 for the holiday break.
Important Dates To Keep In Mind!
– Registrations Close:Wednesday, 20th November 2024 (accepted on a first-come basis; no late entries)
– Artwork Delivery: Tuesday, 25th November to Saturday, 30th November 2024 (10 am-5 pm, Tues-Fri; 10 am-2 pm, Sat)
– Exhibition Opening:Friday, 6th December 2024, at 7 pm (with the Meet the Maker Shopping Night from 5:30-9:30 pm)
– Exhibition Dates:Tuesday, 3rd December 2024 – Saturday, 1st February 2025
Registration Fees
– Entry Fee: $30 per artwork (non-refundable, maximum of 2 pieces)
– CALD Artists Discount Fee: $15 per artwork (maximum of 2 pieces) — Email artspace@space2b.com.au to apply.
Artwork Pricing & Specifications
– Prices must be capped at $400 per piece.
– Accepted mediums: mixed media, watercolour, oils, acrylic, ceramics, collage, photography, sculpture, and Giclée prints.
– Artwork must be original, ready to hang with cord and D-rings, and labeled with the artist’s details on the back.
– A4 size restriction (210 x 297mm), not including the frame. Video works are not accepted.
Delivery and Collection
Deliver your artworks to Space2b Social Design, 144 Chapel St, St Kilda, from 26th to 30th November 2024, during opening hours. Unsold artworks must be collected on 1st February 2025 between 10 am and 2 pm. Uncollected work beyond one week will be donated to Space2b’s programs.
