About Jackie and Laura

Two people wearing beanies and jackets, smiling for a selfie outdoors.

Jackie Saunders, of Tutti Arts, is a contemporary Ngarrindjeri and Wirangu artist living on Kaurna land. Jackie describes herself as ‘the daughter of a saltwater woman and a desert dwelling man.’ Her work draws on her strong sense of family and culture. It reflects her connections to both the human and natural world, exploring different weathers – internal and external – and the shape and movement of land, light and water.

Laura Wills’s Tarntanya/ Adelaide based visual arts practice is centered around collaboration, participation and local ecologies. Her expanded approach is site responsive, often connecting people together and to nature primarily working across the discipline of drawing.
