The Beauty of the Art We Create Will Be Our Message, Our Gift, and Our Protest!
Raw and unframed highlights the extraordinary talent and resilience of 18 refugee artists living in detention centers across Indonesia. Forced to flee war-torn homelands in search of safety, they now face years of uncertainty in detention. Through vibrant and thought-provoking artworks, they transform their struggles into powerful expressions of creativity and hope, proving that art can triumph over despair.
Supported by Asylum Art Refugee Support, these artists have found purpose and empowerment through structured art programs. Their works are more than personal expressions—they are a protest against injustice, a gift of beauty, and a message of resilience to the world. Proceeds from artwork sales directly support these artists, helping them take steps toward sponsorship and a life of freedom in a new country. Join us in celebrating their talent and amplifying their voices.
