Gallery 1 and 2:
Opening of exhibition 15 Artists, an annual acquisitive prize developed to enhance City of Moreton Bay’s art collection and exhibition program. Each year, Council invites 15 artists to take part in the exhibition which highlights recent works by Australian artists, presenting diverse voices and ideas.
Gallery 3 and 4:
Opening of exhibition Joe Furlonger: Horizons. One of Australia’s most respected landscape painters and Moreton Bay local, Joe Furlonger came to prominence in the late 1980s with a series of large-scale figurative paintings.
Joe Furlonger: Horizons traces the artist’s career through a range of media from painting, ceramics, sculpture, and drawing.
This exhibition includes works from the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) Collection, as well as City of Moreton Bay’s own collection.

Speeches: 2:15 PM, with music from Andre Reginato to follow.

Redcliffe Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
