This year’s festival takes place in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, Olive Pink Botanic Garden, and explores the theme of ‘angkwerre-iweme | healing in the winds of change’. A weekend of performances, panels, workshops and talks on vibrant Arrernte Country.

Guest highlights include Gina Chick, Veronica Gorrie, Sara Saleh and Daniel Browning. Amongst the panels and talks are workshops, walkshops and unique feature events including Yitaki Manninjaku | Reading Country with Warlpiri elders who are kuyu pungu | expert trackers.

Saturday night features extraordinary storytelling under the stars and around the campfire with readings from local writers and our interstate authors.

The programming has a range of events, inviting us to take joy in language and song, engage in story sovereignty and explore Country through walking tours and mapmaking.
