Beethoven 7 Plus Double Concerto
In the first Met Concert of 2025, The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) will showcase a premium selection of exceptional music to blast off another incredible concert season within the beautifully ornate surrounds of Marrickville Town Hall. The performance starts with Mendelssohn’s dark and majestic Hebrides Overture followed by Krommer’s joyous Concerto for two clarinets featuring TMO Principal Clarinet Andrew Doyle and TMO Associate Principal Clarinet Alisha Coward.
The sublime afternoon of music will climb to a fitting climax with Beethoven’s intensely boisterous and energetic Seventh Symphony. This performance will be the perfect way to celebrate the start of TMO’s amazing 17th concert season. Led by TMO Founding Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Sarah-Grace Williams, this powerful afternoon of masterworks will be the perfect way to relax as we commence another beautiful autumn in Sydney.
