Marion’s Vision
Canberra Art Workshop
Marion’s Vision explores and celebrates the legacy of Marion Mahony Griffin, an influential figure in Australian architectural history.
As one of the first licensed female architects in the world, Mahony Griffin left a lasting impact on Canberra’s identity. Her innovative and forward-thinking approaches to urban planning and landscape architecture combined art, nature, and architecture into a harmonious environment, which remains an enduring feature of the city’s aesthetic and design.
Marion’s Vision showcases the work of Canberra Art Workshop (CAW) members inspired by a vision of Canberra that resonates with the legacy and lasting influence of Marion Mahony Griffin.
