The Lake Macquarie One Act Play Festival is returning to Warners Bay Theatre on Saturday 5 April 2025.
The Lake Macquarie One Act Play Festival is a theatre competition showcasing short, sharp and exhilarating one-act plays from Lake Macquarie and beyond.
The theatre stage will light up with a series of short-plays brought to life by local performing artists. The plays are all original works written and submitted into the Festival by local, national and international playwrights.
Be taken on a rollercoaster ride as the plays explore contemporary themes that will make you laugh, cry, and challenge your perspective.
Two sessions: 1pm and 4:30pm
