To mark 50 years since the establishment of Kambah, Tuggeranong Arts Centre and photo access are offering a unique, limited opportunity to aspiring, emerging and established photographers. During three workshop sessions under the expert guidance of photo access tutor, artist and architecture buff, Jordan Stokes, select a historic photograph, reshoot the scene. Jordan will guide you through making a concertina book bundling the images together. Each participant will be provided with disposable cameras, film development and image scanning. The images produced will form a historic time-capsule of Kambah in 2024.
The workshop dates are:
• Saturday the 31st of Aug (11am – 2pm)
meet at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre at 10:50 am to ensure a 11am start
• Saturday the 7th of Sept (11am – 2 pm)
meet at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre at 10:50 am to ensure a 11am start
• Saturday the 21st of Sept (6 – 9 pm)
meet at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre at 5:50 pm to ensure a 6 pm start
The concertina books will be displayed upon completion to form a part of the Kambah Turns 50 “Now and then” exhibit at Tuggeranong Arts Centre A selection of the images produced during the workshop will be printed by Tuggeranong Arts Centre. This opens August 16 and runs until October 2024!
