“Altitude 3,500 ft.” presents a breathtaking aerial view of Australia, capturing the stunning beauty of its outback, coastlines, and urban landscapes. This exhibition delves into abstract perspectives and fine art aerial photography, featuring national and international award-winning images. It invites viewers to marvel at the country’s diverse terrains and the artistry of nature as seen from above.
Ingrid Hendriksen, a national and international award winning photographer, was born in the Netherlands and moved to Australia in 1981. She developed a deep love for nature, travel, and adventure long before picking up a camera. In 2012, she earned a diploma in applied photography, followed by L.A.P.S. and A.A.P.S. honours from the Australian Photographic Society in 2015 and 2021. Ingrid has flown across Australia, the USA, Canada, Alaska, Africa, and the Netherlands with her pilot husband, capturing stunning aerial views of the landscapes below. She is passionate about using her craft of aerial image-making to share Australia’s beauty from above. Her exhibition, “Altitude 3,500 ft. – Aerial Impressions of Australia’s Landscapes,” reflects this passion, offering viewers a unique perspective on the country’s diverse landscapes.
