Join us for a dynamic day of ideas, creativity, and conversation as we delve into the art of storytelling in this event presented in conjunction with Jennifer Fyfe’s exhibition Descript. Through a diverse lineup of speakers and discussions, this symposium will explore the many ways stories shape our world—from visual and literary narratives to the stories embedded in our bodies, minds, and cultures.

Keynote speaker Charli English will examine sustainable art practices, while neuroscientist, artist and advocate Tanya Duckworth will uncover the deep connections between creativity and the brain. Other featured speakers include Megan-Jane Johnstone AO, tattoo artist Sammi Edney, and more. The day will conclude with a special recital presentation of Portraits in Song by Ensemble Creatus, weaving together music and storytelling in a fitting finale.

Whether you’re an artist, writer, performer, or simply passionate about the power of stories, this symposium offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow creatives and expand your perspective on storytelling’s limitless possibilities.
