Are you a fiction writer? Do you want to grow your writing community? Come along for a write-in session with our latest Artist in Resident, speculative fiction and crime author Maureen Flynn.

During the two hours you will get to know other local writers, share questions and ideas you would like to workshop about your current work, and participate in communal writing sessions.

The aim of this session is to meet other writers so you can build a writing community, create new words on your project and workshop any writing and story issues you are experiencing. This is not a writing critique session. A friendly attitude and spirit of generosity is welcome.

Light refreshments will be available. Please advise if you have any dietary requirements or allergies. Please bring your writing materials such as laptops, notebooks, pens, USBs.

Date: Thuesday 29 October
Time: 10.00am – 12.00pm
Location: Meet at Carss Park Life Saving Hall (103 Carwar Ave, Carss Park)
Cost: $12.50 per participant (excluding online booking fee).

Note: This session is for adults and best suited to writers already working on a piece of fiction, rather than someone who has not written anything or is not working on anything currently. A second session will be held on Saturday 16 November. These sessions will have the same structure and are not complementary.
