Be inspired by the Makers & Manufacturers exhibition and learn the traditional technique of cyanotype printing on paper and fabric to create your own unique artwork. This workshop will allow you to mix history and art in our Museum & Gallery.
The day will start with artist Marina Mavritsky explaining her artmaking process. Then, using the exhibition and surrounds as inspiration, participants will learn the art of traditional cyanotype printing using negatives and found objects. Participants are encouraged to bring in objects and images which can be used as further inspiration for this unique artmaking process.
