The finalists of the Basil Sellers Art Prize 2024 will be celebrated in an exhibition from 7 December 2024 to 2 February 2025.
Winners will be announced at the official opening on 6 December 2024.
The Basil Sellers Art Prize is an acquisitive biennial competition celebrating and awarding artistic excellence and creative practice. Offering a prize pool of over $30,000 the prize champions 2D artworks in traditional mediums of painting, drawing, and printmaking (unique state).
The major prize continues to be generously supported by businessman and philanthropist, Mr Basil Sellers AM. The winning artwork is acquired and placed into his extensive private art collection. The Eurobodalla award is supported by Eurobodalla Shire Council and will be acquired and added to Council’s permanent art collection. Additionally, the artist winning the Eurobodalla award will have the opportunity for a solo exhibition in the Bas in 2025.
