Bound[less] is a spatial installation within the Lounge Gallery and Wash House that considers what is left when our domestic energy is spent. Stone and Kelly collaborate to displace and rematerialise functional forms, exploring what emerges when blemishes are celebrated and the edges between inside and out are questioned. Alex Stone’s work physically retraces memories and place in an attempt to address notions of absence and to grasp ‘the fleeting’.

Opening Saturday 10 May, 2–4pm

Join us for a conversation between exhibiting artists Alex Stone, Lee Kelly and Tanya Court led by Dr Athanasios Lazarou, Lecturer in architectural history and theory at the University of Adelaide.  A limited bar will be available along with complimentary hospitality.

Lounge Gallery & Wash House | 10 May – 21 June
