Beccy Feather: The No-Comfort Zone Flameworking Masterclass

Flameworking Masterclass at Canberra Glassworks

During this class, we will explore the exciting possibilities of borosilicate glass through the versatile technique of flameworking. Focusing on making complex techniques accessible, students will have the opportunity to explore their own ideas and learn how to bring them to life in this adaptable material.

We will cover both traditional and non-traditional methods of hollow and solid sculpting, including component construction, hollow seals, bit work, stringer drawing, frit, and color application.

You will discover your limits and then push past them—embracing discomfort and unlocking your full potential. Bring an open mind, boundless enthusiasm, a generous spirit, snacks, and the willingness to throw everything you thought you knew about flameworking out the window.
