Born in Berlin, Gregor Thieler pursued dance from a young age, earning a diverse dance degree from Palucca University. He gained recognition for his solo performance in Keith and embarked on a career with notable ballet companies like Ballet Hagen and Ballet Dortmund. Under Xing Peng Wang, he shone in roles such as Der Mann und das Meer and collaborated in West Side Story. Gregor's journey led him through Aalto Ballet Essen and Birgit Scherzer's company. In 2007, he became a Soloist at Stephan Thoss's Wiesbaden State Ballet, where he delved into choreography. He co-founded Impetus Dance Arts; and directed Ballet Academy Northside and founded Sydney College of Dance with Xanthe Geeves to nurture aspiring dancers. Gregor's international performance and choreographic experience enrich education at Tanya Pearson Academy, while his skills extend to dance media. In 2021, he became the director of the Tanya Pearsons Academy alongside Xanthe.
