Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis has been nominated for eight Oscars, including Best Picture.
The biopic, starring Austin Butler as Presley, is also nominated for Best Actor, Cinematography, Make-Up and Hairstyling, Editing and Sound.
Catherine Martin, who is married to Luhrmann and has won more Oscars than any other Australian, , was a co-producer on the film. She was nominated for Best Costumes, Best Production Design and, as a producer, Best Picture.
