Queensland’s Labor government and the Coalition government in NSW both handed down their 2022-2023 budgets this week.
In Queensland, Minister for the Arts Leeanne Enoch described the budget as being ‘transformational’ for the state, while also noting its strong focus on the Summer Olympics in 2032.
Her compatriot in NSW, Minister for the Arts Ben Franklin, focused more on rebuilding the state’s arts ecology after the ravages of COVID.
