Having worked for most of his adult life as a youth worker, Yaegl Bundjalung man Mitch King is especially keen for young First Nations people to come and see his new theatre production, Flow.
‘Particularly young Indigenous men and women, they go through today’s world understanding where they fit and where they sit, and the connections we have with culture and community, but also the disconnect we have at times … so there’s that sense of representation and reconnection back to culture within the work. It’s a storytelling of losing identity and then coming back, and a lot of people can understand that,’ he explained.
