‘Having this 30th anniversary has been a real moment to sit back and reflect on where we started, who we are, why we exist and who we exist for,’ said Rachael Maza, Artistic Director of ILBIJERRI.
Founded in 1990 and originally known as Ilbijerri Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Theatre Cooperative, the company’s anniversary represents a valuable opportunity for Maza to reflect on ILBIJERRI’s place in the national arts ecology.
