The new screen work by art collective Soda_Jerk, which will premiere this week at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) has lost the public support of one of its major backers.
The Ian Potter Cultural Trust has distanced itself from TERROR NULLIUS, describing the work as ‘very controversial’ and stating it does not wish to be associated with any marketing or publicity promoting the completed art work. It has not withdrawn funding from the project, however, stating that ‘All financial commitments … will be met in full.’
