How do you see a voice? This is the concept behind two new exhibitions currently showing – one that will tour to seven regional venues over the next two years, thanks to NETS Victoria, and the other exclusive to Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum.
Seeing Voices has been curated by Hannah Mathews, Helen Hughes and Frances E Parker of Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA) and uses the Monash University Collection as a springboard for thinking through the voice and how it is visualised, employed and reimagined in contemporary art.
