Circa’s Troppo has its world premiere at the 2016 Brisbane Festival.

David Berthold’s first Brisbane Festival was notable for its focus on art works about and from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Singapore, while thematically it explored several challenging issues, including around race and colonialism. This year’s festival turns its geographic focus towards Ireland, while thematically it picks up on ideas around participation, playfulness, and the relationship between artists and audiences.
